It develops a performance-portable semi-Lagrangian solver with a rotating velocity grid, outperforming standard methods. The BSL6D simulation code addresses challenges in high-performance computing, and exposes inter-node hardware bottlenecks. A physical model with net-zero charge transport is validated against ion Bernstein wave theory.},
